Sting Newz Service/ Press Release (Kolkata): Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) jointly with Eastern India Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (EICASA) under the aegis of Board of Studies, ICAI today organized a Two Day National Convention for CA Students on the theme ‘Nurturing Values & Integrity – Attaining Excellence in Professional Pursuits’ on 14th & 15th July, 2017 at Kala Mandir Auditorium.
The eminent personalities like CA Manish Goyal, Convention Coordinator & Chairman, EIRC; CA Sonu Jain, Vice-Chairperson, EIRC & Chairperson, EICASA; CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, CCM & Member BOS; CA. Sushil Kumar Goyal, CCM & Member BOS; CA Mangesh Kinare, Vice Chairman BOS; CA Subodh Kumar Agarwal, Past President ICAI; CA Hardik Punatar, Vice Chairman EICASA & others.
The Convention provided an opportunity for Chartered Accountants students across the country to meet and discuss matters of their interest as C.A. students. Paper presenters from across the country presented their papers in an excellent way. Special knowledge sessions were conducted by renowned speakers from the specialized fields. Speakers were invited to give the talk on various professional and motivational topics covering current topics of professional interest, GST, law, accounts, taxation and economy. More than 1200 CA students have registered from across India.
The Board of Studies (BOS) is the Academic wing of the Institute. Apart from preparing and continuously revising comprehensive study materials and revision test papers, practice manuals, BOS also organizes National and International convention of students, seminars, career counseling sessions, quiz and debate contests, entering into MOUs with Indian Universities / Overseas Accounting bodies for working out mutually beneficial schemes.
Speaking to the media, CA Manish Goyal, Chairman, EIRC said, “Chartered Accountancy profession cannot achieve great heights being only academically good; overall personality development is the essence for a shining future and it is very important that they brush up their communication and presentation skills as well.”
On this occasion CA Sonu Jain, Vice Chairman, EIRC & Chairman, EICASA said, “ICAI is the only professional educational institution which has a strong nonpolitical students wing which works for the betterment students who are pursuing Chartered Accountancy course and this helps the students to come out as a true professional in their future career.”
