Bubble Blue celebrates 10th Annual Day ‘UDAAN’ in folk tune

A day-care and Montessori house which nurtures holistic developmentPress Relese/Kolkata:- Bubble Blue – an Integrated Daycare and Montessori House located at Saltlake, Newtown, Narendrapur & Rajarhat celebrated its 10 th  Annual Cultural Program “Udaan”, at Nazrul Tirtha, Newtown.

This program was organized to showcase the talent of the young ones with age ranging from 1.5 years to 12 years. The show themed on Bengali folk songs and dances was conducted basically to provide a platform for displaying the genius of the little ones. Dance, Music and storytelling were performed by the inhabitants and teachers of the school. Mr. Debasish Sen, IAS, Chairperson, WBHIDCO was also present on this occasion. Guided by the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, Bubble Blue is dedicated towards bringing out the best in the child, thus encouraging all round development in him.

Following the work-way method of learning, every child at Bubble Blue is allowed to explore his own abilities through different kinds of interesting activities. Started in 2007 Bubble Blue has explored various possibilities in these ten years. After Saltlake, Newtown and Rajarhat mostly serving the Saltlake and neighbourhood areas it has come up in Narendrapur, the fringe area of South Kolkata. “Besides all regular curriculums we try to concentrate on extracurricular activities too. So the inhabitant who stays with our day care they also got to learn dance, recitation, music, yoga and other activities too.

So it becomes our responsibility to showcase those talents together. Based on that idea we celebrate annual cultural day every year. We wish to make children learn independently, at their own will, at their own pace and be life-ready and grow up to become responsible and global citizens in the true sense.” Mrs. Nabonita BoseMukherjee said. Bubble Blue has recently been successfully awarded with the prestigious British Council International School Award for the period 2017- 2020.They also have a number of awards and accolades to their credit in the past 10 years.
